What to Study?

Last week we had a discussion of what we already know about spring and the children knew a lot about it already!  They told me that you can ride your bikes in the spring, grass grows in the spring, it's sunny in the spring, and that baby birds are born in the springtime.  Then I asked what they wanted to learn about for our spring study and these are the topics they gave me: caterpillars, bunnies, snakes, frogs, butterflies, and chipmunks.  So I now have books on all those subjects and we'll delve into those this week. It should be great fun to learn all about these topics that they chose and then anything else along the way as well!
